Echo is a youth-led not-for-profit organisation that promotes economic and financial literacy among youth in regional Australia.
Through our dynamic workshops and conferences, we aim to equip young Australians with the ability to make more informed economic and financial choices.
We partner with regional high schools to deliver economic and financial literacy workshops designed to help young students appreciate the relevance of economic and financial concepts.
Our regional conferences are designed to give attendees an opportunity to learn from university students, industry and academic leaders, and to investigate the numerous tertiary education and career pathways related to economics and finance.

Congratulations to Echo for their inaugural regional conference! It was a great day with bigger and better conferences to follow.

My first experience with Echo was in Year 9 where I expanded my knowledge on economics. Through Echo, I attended the 2021 Sohn Hearts and Mind Conference, where I had the invaluable opportunity to hear from billionaire investor Charlie Munger. Even as a rural student, my aspirations are to make an impact in the business and financial sector.
Student, Warren Central High School
Echo's workshops were incredibly interactive and engaging. The Year 7 and 8 students learnt a lot about practical issues such as globalisation and inflation, and it definitely sparked their interests in Commerce, Economics and Business Studies.

Thanks to Echo, one of our stand out students interested in studying Economics next year were able to attend the 2021 Sohn Hearts and Mind Conference where she explored the dynamic world of finance, markets and investing.

It was very interesting and productive to have them. The team was fully productive and prepared and well equipped with the resources my class needed. The team actually answered the questions so well that clarified most of the questions my Year 12 boys had.

In the COVID-19 situation, it can be difficult to organise out of school activities, but Echo was brilliant in providing fun and engaging workshops that covered basic economic and financial concepts while linking to the NSW Commerce syllabus. My students absolutely loved the workshops and are looking forward to another one!
